The official residence of the Regent (Bupati) is located in A1 Bukit Samak, Manggar. The house was built by the Dutch Colonial Government as the residence of The head of the Administrator in Manggar. The building is also well known as Rumah Tuan Kongsi. Afterward, the house became the official residence of the head of exploration area of PT Timah in Manggar.
