Indonesia Tin Museum

Museum Timah Indonesia is at jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani no. 17 Pangkalpinang. The museum houses collection of stones, dredge ship miniatures, tin mining models, and shows the history of tin mining in Indonesia. The replica of Kota Kapur inscription is also displayed here.

The building itself has 5 rooms. It was the house where the founding fathers of Indonesia stayed during the periode before Roem Royen Agreement. Before that, the house had been the dwelling of the officers of Banka Tin Winning Berdrijf. PT Timah then made The building the museum in 1997 .
